Well, here I am, back to blogging. My apologies for being away from this...April has been a very busy month. In any case, we just finished National Lutheran Schools Week, and I got the notice last week about Spirit Week this week. So, it means another week of hassle-I mean fun- in dressing up. Earlier in the week was pajama day, crazy hair day and sparkle day. However, both girls were most excited about Hawaiian Day, after I let them pick out some new accessories at Party City.
Faith is as upset as she looks in these pictures. It was a combination of things this morning, from not wanting to get out of bed, to wanting to wear flip-flops that don't fit her, to wanting to feed Oreo after Grace had already done it. So, she was not happy about having to pose for a picture. I decided we were taking them anyway.
Once we got to school, we tried one more time. First, she put her fist over her face and said no, then finally said, "FINE!- I'll take a picture" and then smiled. So, here are the results. And yes, for those wondering, it is another goose-egg/bruise on her forehead. Apparently when Faith falls, she just lets her face break her fall. It is very strange.

i'm so happy for new pictures of these pretty girls. i love the reality of the pictures. i was wondering about faithy's face...she seems to be like her cousin jonas who has a different bruise on his face every week.
keep posting we've missed the pictures.
again, i'm thinking of asking to do a spirit week here at work. i would like to have a sparkle day or at the very least hawaiian day.
i know i think sparkle day would TOTALLY be my fav day!! poor faithy!! i don't know how to teach the reflex of breaking your fall with your hands or your butt!! it's an art of aging, i guess. and all this fun while moving?? that sounds like the kind of fun i get to have in my life!!
does christie need to file a claim with CPS? do children really break their fall with their face? you know, i don't always feel like taking pictures either. i agree that a spirit week would be good at work, however when i mentioned it, all of the men ( i am the only girl) who work there said no....
where are you moving? we didn't know that...
I wish I could tell you Allison how many "Alexander" mornings we all enjoyed living with you! I am surprised sometimes that any of us survived! The girls are so cute! Grace is looking so grown up! I particularly like how Faithie's grass skirt is worn in the same place her Papa wears his pants!
